hi all, got a problem.

i need to get documentation on my alarm on the car for insurance purposes.

as far as i can see its a toyota 345 alarm, p/n 00270-01021

anyone have any ideas???

If yours is the same as mine, which I'm thinking it should be, these are the details which my Toyota dealership gave me for my club insurance:

CAT1 TDSS System 5000. Thatcham approved - Ref No 75/0694

Those pics look the same as the UK alarm that was on my car originally.

as ive got a toad fob and keyless entery. talked to toyota, they were very helpfull but couldnt help.

put me in contact with uplands in cardiff. hopefully they will be able to help me

With mine I spoke to Toyota customer services (in Surrey I believe) and they wrote me a letter saying that the factory fitted Toyota 5000 system is Thatcham approved.

I've used this letter for a couple of insurance companies now and it has been fine.
