howdy guys, has anyone ever heard of the above being done???

or any guesses as to what might be involved???

i cant find anything on the subject anywhere, and i might be able to source the bits off a broken trip supe, so i could do with some clues.

any ideas martin mate??? or anyone else???

Hmmmm in that case no haven't heard of it being done.

Think there would be a fair amount involved but nothing like an auto to manual conversion.

At a guess i would say you are going to need the following from a donor car...

Tiptronic Box
Steering wheel and its loom
ECU
One of the looms from dash area (carrying steering wheel signals to ECU)
Possibly drive shaft
Possibly box crossmember
Shifter and trim panel.

Maybe somebody who has worked on a tiptronic car (Nathan?) can add.

could be a world first as well from what ive read, cant even find anything much on the yankie forum...

if theres alot of internals to change suppose it might be easyer/cheaper to stick a 6 speed manu in there, at least thats been done before...

what do you think martin??? did you have any luck finding that wiring diagram you were lookin for???
