Oil filter

going to change the oil and filter on the supra sometime soon. Went to partco to get the filter and gave them the part number. But they said they only did cooper filters. part no was c00z1015. Is this ok or shall i take it back. cost 12.85!!!!!!!

Can't comment on Cooper filters as i don't know whether they are OEM equivalent etc. However i believe you may have just payed more than the standard oil filter costs from Toyota. http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

I have a feeling a filter from Toyota is about ?9 ish

May be worth seeing if one of the Toyota dealers we have arranged discount with can give you a price.

exactly what i thought. Been checking out the sites, you can get a blitz ones for the same money.
looks like i won't be doing the oil change tomorrow.
