My car was supposed to have been finished in a fortnight but my bonnet never turned up despite ordering it 4 months ago and have had numerous dates and re-assurances from the supplier, all broken.

Latest date i've been given is the end of this week but if it's still not arrived I want to tell them to stick it and get one delivered myself from elsewhere. Apart from Envy are there any stockists anyone knows of that may have one on the shelf?

Original suppliers only pls, i've been a victim of alleged good quality copies once already, never again.

I think Abbey Motorsport are JUN dealers.

If not try TakaKaira as they ship world wide.

We don't have one on the shelf but I am pretty sure we could get you one. Have you had a quotation from us? One thing to bear in mind is that due to your timscales you will need to have the bonnet air freighted from Japan and this will add at least ?300 to the cost.

Thanks

I won't know until the end of the week if they managed to keep their latest promise but i'm not exactly holding my breath. I wouldn't have minded so much if they didn't keep giving me guaranteed dates to stop me just getting it myself ages ago and come clean about the whole mess.

Since you're about ?200 cheaper on the bonnet than them and the hire cars costing me ?150 every week the airfreight doesn't sound so bad. Bodyshop is talking about paying for the extra hire car charges so someone still has faith in them, hehe.

Blimey, they rung me instead of the other way around. Came clean with the situ and offered me a Veilside bonnet at cost price along with paying for the extra on the hire car http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif . Shame the Veilside bonnet just isn't my cup of tea but is nice to know they're honestly trying to fix the f-up.

I am wondering if they read this forum though... http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

It isn't still. Bonnet left Tokyo finally Wednesday...allegedly. Main worry now is a set of wheels for the next month since the gay lights... i mean N E O N went back today. True to form they're leaving it until the last minute to sort out this promised courtesy car with plenty of non returned calls.

Scarey thing is the N E O N started not seeming so slow... v bad sign and I won't even begin to describe the mental anguish of getting done by that Punto.
