Silver UK TT with a genuine 37,000 miles. I knew the original owner and waited ages to get this car. Beyond the 1994 standard spec, I have fitted the real tailgate brakelight (?127), 98spec rears wired for 5 brake lights (?110) , 18" Antera 309's with quality tyres (?1900) in 99.9% condition, HKS FMIC (expensive not sure of price ), Super Dragger (?630), CW full decat (?about ?300ish sounds beautiful), Eibach springs ?160 plus camber align job), philips blue plasma complete front end bulbs, colour coded the front lip, HKS panel air filter, uprated speakers (?260 and late spec rear speaker boxes which work much better than the metal brackets) all new toyota brake discs, TRD front pads, recent 5.1 fluid, new g/box V160 oil, new mobil 1 15/50 oil with LS400 filter, 12V fuel pump mod, New petrol tank cover (?150), New diff oil cooler pipes (these tend to rot a little), new windscreen, HKS FCD, Strut brace, new toyota mats. Car has FTSH to 26,000 when I got the car and realised Toyota were doing a lame job so since then its been to specialists only. Car can produce 453BHP @ 16.2psi on an 18C day of you wish to raise the boost, with 542.85lbsft or torque! and top 194mph if you have the balls and a very long quiet road. Engine is in excellent condition good as new. Car has a massive reduction in the normally awful road noise Supra's suffer from, I spent about ?300 doing this. Car comes complete with Toyota documents folder, cd rom of workshop manual. Car has some stone chips but otherwise in very good condition ?13,750 ono. Located in N.I. never been subject to a finance agreement. P.M. me if you are seriously interested.
Car pics can be seen under Chiefgroovers motor in the gallery, dyno sheet is else where on this site.

Oops, didn't realise the gallery was part of the forum. Very nice. I was really looking for a standard UK TT, do you have any idea how much the mods add to insurance premiums as that will be the deciding factor.

Cheers,
Francis

Forgot to mention, recent new cluth and flywheel (approx ?500)

Exhaust and de cat make no diff to insurance, most companys are cool about the wheels and as the FMIC does not g/tee a power increase its usually not a prob. Fitting the FMIC means the active spoiler is removed, so for a front end repair it would be cheaper to fix a fmic car (?750+vat for a new one) Vs active spoiler (?2498).Car is running standard boost at the moment, so i dont see an insurance issue. Raise the boost and you get 453bhp, that would be an insurance issue. Standard UK with filter, decat, exhaust and intercooler, is about 375bhp. I suggest you look at the members discount page as Emma has found a special deal on insurance.

how did you connect up the brake light? The connector isn't usually wired up to anything afaIk.

I only found this out after painstakingly making my own brakelight with led's from maplins. http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cry.gif

how the hell do you get so much torque with just those few mods? you're starting to give me ideas.
hmmmm - fmic, decat exhaust and filter, fuel pump mod and a little extra boost - can't cost that much, i might check the balance on my c/card.

Cuth.

Cuth, my engine has "as new compression" or within a few percent of it. The head has been decoked, valves reground, etc. The big torque figure is peak torque, cant manage that all the way from 4000 to 7000rpm lol, that would be too good to be true.
If I was starting from scratch, I'd go Super dragger c.w. decat and good boost controller (blitz sbc maybe?) first, as they give the best results on a STD car IMO. Air filters - Blitz panel is as good as they get, and a set of HKS S40i plugs (check that number?) set @ 1.1mm gap. Maybe about ?1400 to cover this, and your car will fly! http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Chief, mind if I ask you who did the work on your car, or are you very handly with tools? Reason I ask is I don't really have anyone I trust with mine at the moment.

For General work Neil McCracken (award winning mechanic) who works in Boucher Rd by day but does stuff at home in eves and Sat to 4pm, in his well equipped garage. (Katesbridge)
Actual engine tuning and setup performance gear setup go for Cartoyz with their new R.Road as you can cost yourself an engine mucking about doing trial and error.
Neil is not hard to pay. PM me if you want his number.

Alex, good news I have all 10 lines done, so if I win, you get the car, and you owe me ?1.00 for the lottery line lmao.:p
ON the other hand if YOU win, you are giving me ?27K for my car !!!
If we both share the win, lets go to Japan find 2 mint 2002 models, strip them out and build two mega Supras!, you design the engines, brakes and suspension, i'll design the bodywork, interiors, undersealing, noise deadening and stereos!, and have the best Supras in the country. Where did you put the Cornflakes ! http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

AS winter is pretty much in, I am considering having the car stripped underneath, and undersealed with that heavy stuff VW use to preserve it and also reduce road noise further. Anyone ever done this?
