skimming for ideas.
have a j-spec 96 NA.
wanted to upgrade to UK brakes; but my aftermarket wheels wont take it.
any1 have suggestions for brake replacements; either the same size as the j-spec brakes with increased performance or where to get j-spec brakes?

I would speak to Chris Wilson as he does a different range of pads to fit standard size brakes and they are highly rated by
people who have purchased them.

Yes, I have CW's fast road pads and they are very good IMO. Same amount of brake dust as stock pads and no fade at all so far http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

OK, I have a UK car with Goodridge S/Steel lines and good brake fluid which, makes a big difference in pedal feel but, he does fast road pads and Race pads in Jspec trim.

(Race pads give lots of brake dust and squeal but, will give you the best from your jspec brakes - Taken from what other jspec owners have said)

Hi chap, got the same problem with my N/A Aerotop. Go to www.wilwood.com & choose the brakes that best suit your needs & then go to www.performancetuning.co.uk (or www.performance-tuning.co.uk can't remember which) & order through them - So much cheaper & parts in the UK already!! However, you will have to have a mount manufactured by a local engineering (to you) company, to mount the caliper on. Will be designing one soon, if you want to wait a month or two, I could let you have a CAD drawing when it's done.
