Anyone know of a second hand pair of big twins for sale?
(I have no idea why they are so expensive new?)

Is that just the turbos or the full kit?

I wonder how much it would cost to fabricate your own manifold? ie give a company that fabricate's stuff like that, a stock manifold-head flange and a pair of say GT2835R's and say mount them to that to fit in there! http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

It's not rocket science to make a manifold after all...and if they can do that they can, also allow for the wastegates and DP's required. As ~9k for a new full kit is, well, staggering! I know there is two of everything, but they value each turbo at over ?1500 which can be beaten.

The HKS 2835 kit is ?5700 plus VAT, or ?6700 inc. Still a lot of dosh, but not quite 9K. If you saw every little nut, bolt, gasket, piece of pipe and god knows what else that goes into the two huge boxes that you get for your money you might not be so eager to build up your own. Not saying it can't be done, and probably for a fair bit cheaper, but what price agg?

At that price i should be going quad turbo at least ! :-)

I am in no hurry so maybe someone will stuff their Supra and sell the kit complete and hopefully all I will need is some gaskets.

I think the odds of finding a crashed Supra with HKS twins on would be like......winning the lottery!! lol it's an expensive bit of kit but looks amazing!!! Wonder what they go like, i've been in the Envy Big single Supra and that shifted, but never been in a big twin Supra yet.
