Today I fitted my blitz boost controller, all went well except one query.

On connecting the vacuum connection from the control unit (using the supplied small piping) I followed the instructions from MKiv.com and tee'd it into the existing boost gauge pipe that I'd fitted yesterday. I wasn't sure if this was the best method, but being low on suitable pipe and it being the method used in the 'how to' I did as I was told ?http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif

Thing is the boost reading on the Blitz display isn't the same as the reading on my HKS gauge..... so which is the correct reading and does something need adjusting so they will tally up?

For example on idle the gauge was reading -0.7 (x100 Kpa) and the Blitz also set for Kpa was showing -0.49 ?http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif ?http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/help.gif

Thats a little odd, and you say they are both tee'd into the same pipe ?

Do they both read zero when the ignition is fully on but the engine not started ?

Yes there off the same pipe (ebc tee'd into gauge pipe under dash).
They both read zero on ignition. I've been out and had a bit more of a fiddle. I've worked out that they seem to only differ on idle, If I blip the throttle so my gauge makes to 0 kpa the Blitz display agree's with the it, thanks to me and the wife (bless her lol) staring at both http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
Likewise with 1kpa on the gauge and the 'peak boost' memory on the blitz showing 1kpa, not driven it yet, due to not fitting the boost cut chip till tomorrow, but the only disagreement seems to be on idle.... strange. Will no more tomorrow out on the road if all go's well.
