Has anyone ever thought about doing this to their Supra?

I've seen some done, but not sure how good or easy the conversion is.

Not for me, but i can see the appeal

This has been done a few times now. Kits range from ?1500 for bolt on supra specific kits to ?700 for general kits that need welding on. Its a mod I have been thinking about for a while as I am sick of not being able to get back in my car in car parks when someone parks too close. I've stoppped going to tesco's now as their normal spaces are too small and I got a rollicking last time I went for parking over 2 spaces.

I've been looking at the best place to get a kit from..... it seems that ExtremeDoors (http://www.extremedoors.com/products.htm) in America has the best price for a kit specifically for the Supra!!

The exchange rate is good at the moment and the shipping rate to get it over to blighty shouldn't be too much.

How much?

For the Supra it should cost just over ?600 for the kit to be shipped over here from America. And that's the cheapest I can find for a VDC kit... it's a just a simple unbolt old hinge, bolt on new hinge jobby.

***Also they have an angle conversion kit to allow the door to open a bit more wider than as standard for the vertical door kit.

See if you can find somebody who has fitted that specific kit for feedback. I've heard some are better than others.

not really a fan of it personally, but to each their own.

this place has a nice conversion which allows you the choice of opening like normal or lambo-style just a shame they don`t make a supra kit.
