Well after 3 weeks with my Supra what can I say, LOVE IT http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Fixed the sticky calipers, t-cut and polished and painted the calipers and centre of wheels, oh and got the windows tinted (live in Fife give me a shout, got a mate than runs his own tinting business).

Next on the list is the front bumper, got to admit that the big gaping hole with the exposed rad really worries me, so going to slap some black mesh on for protection.

Anyone done this and give me some pointers, does the bumper have to come off, how do you fix it and last but not least wheres the best place to get mesh.

Cheers

Todd

Yeah that hole is a bit gaping.

It can be done without removing the bumber, but IMO the best way is to remove the bumper and do it from behind. Mesh can be bought from lots of places, Halfrauds if they have a Ripspeed dept in store or B&Q. Make sure you use Stainless Steel or Aluminium. Normal steel will rust within days.

Its a good idea to paint it anyway if you can.

have a look at my thread top of page 3 marked 'grills'. this was done without removing the bumper, saving hours and it will stop a small brick, your call

Thanks Guys, nice bit of DIY there Clayton, take a rabbit in a nitros go kart to get through that http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

I'll have a better look next weekend and hava a trip round B&Q and Halfrauds and see what I can come up with.
