I have used pentagon 3 times now over the last few years and am very happy. Single sheet for the rear and I see they have a local store near you.http://www.pentagon-birmingham.com/

Hi Chris, i'd recomend 'Central' window tining, they did a good job on my supra i've sent loads of people there and they have all been impressed with the quality of their work (and the price)! They are 2mins away from St Andrews. Tel 07974752293 and ask for 'P' he'll sort you out a good deal! http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Some general advice, if I may...

Anyone can put film on the windows but, for me it's how the film deals with the small dots around the window edge and the screen heater strips on the rear window. Some thicker films can take upto a week to settle down and need some gentle pressing with your finger to get it down over these dots. Once down, it stays down.....most of the time....even from a pro install.

I'd ask to see some examples of their work or any demo windows they might have in the shop (They normally have front windows without the dots) http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Also, if you have any scratches on your windows which, you might not know about or have not seen them WILL show up once the film is on.

Anyway, hope this helps.

I paid ?411 all-in, all round - ?back in spring 2002 when you could have film on the front side windows too http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

One of my mates has got his own business in Kirkcaldy and he did the entire car (not front windscreen) for 150 http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

As Peter said make sure it's good quality tint they are using and what ever you do DO NOT use the windows for at least 3 days, this allows time for the glue to take a good bite.

My mate also did my old MR2 and I didn't notice the scatches on the drives window but once the tint went on http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif it looked really bad, so check first!

If you're after a tint in Scotland then give him a phone and mention my name, you wont get the price I got but shouldn't be far off it 07739316964 (Barry)
