Just had a service completed and the only advise that came back was that my rear diff oil needs a top up. The garage didn't want to put an off the shelf oil in as they thought I may have a preference for something else. To be honest I haven't got a clue. Any advice on which oil to use would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Talk to Opie Oils (oilman on this BBS)
Get either Motul Gear 300 or Silkolene Syn5 (think they are the right names)

Did a full service on my car and the diff oil recommended and used was Silkolene Syn 5 75w-90. Got from Opie Oils the cost was approx ?10.00 per litre inclusive of P&P. You will need 2 litres.
