Got parts from Toyota today and fitted the lot, these include new front number plate holder, front badge, bulbs and tail gate stoppers.
I had heard all about the stoppers, how you had to heat the screws, and blah, blah, blah. So was expecting a big fight, but all was easy..........
Big Philips screwdriver and a big man on the other end of it turning it forwards and backwards, forwards and backwards, forwards and backwards ?a bit at a time until the thread lock finally gave up. Got the dent man coming tomorrow to fix my door.
This is the stopper from the near side and the cause of the problem.
