Violent gear changes on autobox

After a spirited take-off on a dual carriageway yesterday, my autobox has started to change gears violently.

This includes switching between P-R-D and during normal auto driving. Revs are at 500, so that seems fine.

Any ideas anyone?

I know the ECU is self learning, but not sure about the autobox ECU. Have you tried reseting it to see if it clears?

Have you checked the fluid level as the harshness of shift can be affected a lot by fluid level and condition.

It seems better now. Started to happen yesterday, I drove to work this morning, it was still an issue, but at lunchtime it was smooth. I have a feeling it may be ECU learning.

The fluids were replaced at the last service 5,000 miles ago.
