Im thinking about changing my boost pipes

im thinking about changing my boost pipes,

has anyone got the diamentions and lenghts of the pipe's required?

also, what clips should i use? ?dont want to use the originals.

hi, sorry i meant the vac hoses. there's seams to be about 3 different sizes. any ideas?

bore size 9mm x 1meter in length and 5mm ?x 3meters in length I think I bought some 3mm for the really small stuff

If you are useing the dark blue I have some of the bigger sizes left over

as regards the clips I used the old ones because I couldn,t find any nice looking ones

I'm not sure if the internal diameter would make a difference, but where my originals have split I've used a 6mm silicone replacement. They seem to be a fairly snug fit & unlikely to pop off.
Blue seems to the most common colour, with black being special order at most places for some bizzare reason.

I used new st/st wurth jubilee clips on mine, dont think they look too bad.

Blue is always in stock at every online shop I've tried, I guess because it's the most popular. Sorry, didn't mean common as in 'you're common' http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif just that it's the most readily availiable.
I suppose black is special order because most people want a bit of 'bling' rather than a stock look.

car's going upto interpro the end of the month. hopefully they can tell me what the problem is.

got a feeling that it may just be a split or damaged hose. so i might change as much of the hoses as i can before i go.

Good luck when the car goes in Baz...........a split or loose hose would be a result in terms of cost, hope your up and running ASAP.

have been rummaging (sp?) in my potting shed and found lots of the smaller bore hoses with a few larger ones, there not very heavy so no worries on the postage m8 you can get me a beer at the xmas do if we make it.
