Running a 96 uk twin turbo auto. Mods include hks super dragger and 2nd cat removed, hks filter, greddy boost & oil temp pillar gauge install.
Have any of you supra owners had experience with manual boost controllers and I dont mean the bleed valves. Im not wanting massive gains over the standard 11 psi just something to tweak 4-5 psi more. I have the gauge installed so I can see the potential dangers etc and with having a uk car at what point do I need to worry about fuel cut?

Any advice greatly received.

Cheers
Neil

hi mate

start with fuel cut

fuel cut on a uk car happens when you go over around 15 psi for more than (I think) 2 seconds ish
i.e. boost over time

I actually use a blitz electronic boost controller this can be set with a limit on your boost to stop boost spikes and you can control how quickly the boost comes in as well

if you want to go above fuel cut you will need a fcd click here (http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/Fuel_Cut_Defencers-152.asp)

hope this helps

hks filter is one of the worst for filtration
