I,ve had this optional harness since I,ve had my
boost controller but I,ve never been able to work out
were the wires connect to

this is the blurb:-
If you purchase the optional harness (part number 15053) you'll be able to read any of the ECU parameters that output between 0-16V through the SBC-iD display. This means you'll be able to view such information as injector pulse width, inlet air temperature, airflow, throttle and many other data readings making it easy to keep a close check over how your engine is performing.

so does any one know were these wires go to ?

You need to connect it up to whichever wires you would like to view on the ECU.

yep I,ve been looking at the ecu terminals

intake temperature sensor terminal 45
oil temperature sensor ?terminal 24

air flow is one I don,t quite get
there are 2 ?terminals 28 and 66
which one do I connect to or is it both ?

there are 4 wires in the harness is one an earth (probably not as the boost controller is already earthed)
does it mean I can measure 4 parameters ?

if it does then what other things will be interesting to see?

28 is a ground connection, you need 66.

AFAIK the four wires are just for the four inputs as the ground and power are already connected to the unit.

I'd be interested to see duty cycle of the injectors if it was me hooking it up, can't remember if it can show duty cycle on those inputs though.

Thanks Martin

in the blurb it say,s you can measure injector pulse width
would you connect to each individual injector for this
i.e. terminals 15 through to 20 ?

or is there somewhere else to tap into ?

I'd just tap into one of them as the duty cycle will be the same for all six of them.

If you do, do this i'd be interested to see what duty cycle you achieve when giving it some.

thanks Martin

I,m going to do this in a couple of months time

when the weather is a bit warmer and I,ll probably be fitting a new head unit at the same time
