Good evening folks!

Just been registered by one of your friendly admin.

I'm Ian, I'm 24, live in Coventry and drive an E36 M3. Had the M3 for a while now, as I bought it to satisfy a teenage fantasy........ and the mkIV Supra is another on my list ?http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Here is my current steed:http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b258/IanGoodwin/BMW/misterg.jpg

and a here are a few more: http://tinyurl.com/7wt6t

I love my polish ?http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

I don't know alot about Supras but I can talk all day about cars (german in particular http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/devil.gif ). Hoping to find a UK spec car... which is proving problematic atm.

Welcome mate. Like Baz said get a soop. There's a few UK specs for sale at the moment and the price of them is rock bottom. Goodluck!

Thanks for the kind words chaps http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

The M car will take some beating for it's all around ability.... (never been pulled by the rozzers in her either!http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

It's certainly on the cards.... unless I end up with a 968gt first http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif Are there any secret places to look for these UK cars other than fleabay and the 'trader?

Sunny, without being too descriptive, I live just off a religious road on the west side of Cov.

Hi Baz,

A manual, I'm not an auto fan.

Am I correct in understanding that very late spec auto Supras were equipped with tiptronic steering wheel buttons? (These are all Jap though, right?) http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

(BTW - That avatar is ace http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/spank.gif )

yep http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/welcome.gif Ian

You definatley got to luv those M cars and the Alpina versions, had a couple myself but the supra mkiv is just a differant beast but still can be practical.

Think you need to try both man and auto as you'll poss struggle to find a manual 6 spd uk spec and when they come for sale theres usually a qew if its any good.
The auto is a very good box and think you'll possibly be supprised just how good.

The tiptronic supra is an import, uk specs are auto or manual 6 spd and ended in late 96
