6 speed NA

There's talk of the supra sz-r in the for sale section with a six speed box on a NA. Does anyone know if i could fit this box to my SZ 5 speed? Will be changing the box at some point and a 6 speed sounds a good idea to me with the possibility of a NA-T in the future.

Well it will fit to the block fine, you may need the 6 speed drive shaft as well as it may be longer or shorter than your current one.

You may also need to replace part of your transmission tunnel with the 6 speed one as the 6 speed box is quite broad and this is what the auto to manual converts end up having to do.

So very feasable, the only complication may be the transmission tunnel
