I had a clear out of the garage this afternoon and sorted out all the tools I've got. Here's why I don't take on many tasks on the car....

That is not what you would call a large selection of quality tools. The only thing you cannot see in that picture is a trolley jack, a saw and a large hammer.

just met afew thats all, and i try to do my own work- got a 12lb hammer for xmas that seems to work a treat

I know what you mean. I find it difficult to find someone that I trust with my car. I've only used Chris Wilson, but there's a guy local to me that seems to be getting great reviews on the other forum so might give him a go.

who's that- been geting my services from mr t but not overly impressed, done my own brakes so far-bit of a learning curve and my knuckles hurt!

I want to try him out before saying too much, if that's ok. should be getting some work done soon. I'll let you know the outcome either way!

Ha, ha, funny Flynn..........that was about the state of my tools until I invested in a socket set, spanners and new screw drivers, next is a torque wrench.......darryl had a nice cheap one which done the job......
