speed limit sensor ???

hi all,
looking for some info on SPEED LIMIT SENSOR ? (not actually sure if this is the proper name )

Symptoms: Overdrive light flashing when in overdrive, but goes out after a while.

Had it diagnostically checked yesterday, and it was a fault 61.

Does this sound familiar to anyone ?

Seemingly this is a 'common problem' with the auto box

Any info once again greatly appreciated

Fault Code 61 is a problem with Speed Sensor 2. Which is not so much a problem with the auto box but normally a problem with the way imports have their kmh to mph conversion done.

Check your converter to make sure its installed properly and no scotch-loks in sight.
