Firstly a big thank you to everyone who has shown an interest and added their name, secondly we are pleased to announce we have provisionally booked the Warwick Suite with The Honiley Court Hotel as detailed at the start of this thread.

In order to confirm our booking with the hotel we now need payments of £14 per person ASAP.

Please make payments via Paypal to: payments@mkivsupraownersclub.com if you don't have a Paypal account or wish to send a cheque please PM Martin F for an address.

Once we have confirmed our booking, a menu will be listed for your Xmas meal selections, please allow time for this to be posted as we first need the menu to be forwarded from the hotel.

Lastly, please note that should you wish to book a room, this has to be done directly with the hotel and not through the club. Rooms can be booked at anytime but we suggest you wait until the meal/event is confirmed which should be Wed. 1st November (I will also post confirmation here on the board)

Tel No. for the hotel - 0870 609 6142

Looking forward to seeing everyone :jiggy:

Update:

We have now confirmed our booking and an initial covering cheque has been sent for all the people who have paid so far. We would ask anyone who has yet to submit payment who wish to be included for a Xmas meal to forward your payments ASAP, the cut off period for securing a meal is 24th November.

Can you please hold fire regarding booking rooms, we are awaiting a phone call on this, as soon as we are contacted by the Hotel details will be posted. Thanks.

Have your payment Martin.

Will be tidying thread up in a bit and will update the list.

Martin F
5th November 2006, 01:49 PM
OK, guys & gals have tidied up the thread a bit and the 2nd post shows who has booked, paid etc.

It's very important to realise that the date for this meeting has now moved to 16th December (unfortunately due to the hotel). Everybody who had paid or expressed an intention in coming has been contacted and confirmed they are OK with the change of date.

Hopefully the change will mean that a few of you who couldn't make it, may now be able to. Also it's closer to Xmas so more excuse to get into the Xmas spirit :D

MSOC XMAS Meet now on Saturday 16th December

My pleasure guys, but without Chris (Rocks) for finding the venue, and Martin & Emma for their constant support and hard work, we wouldn't be where we are.

Hopefully it's a great venue and meal and everyone will have a fantastic time:coolpeek:

I called into the hotel today on my way over to Thor and took some pics..

http://www.chrisrocks.plus.com/supras/hotel/2.jpg

This is what it`s like from the front as you pull in, quite a lot of parking just off the road

http://www.chrisrocks.plus.com/supras/hotel/3.jpg

there is more parking to the side and tucked around the back is another carpark where I thought all the supras could park, you can`t ANYTHING from the road so the cars would be hidden.

Chris Rocks
11th November 2006, 02:52 PM
this area here ( see pic below ) is where I thought everyone could park

http://www.chrisrocks.plus.com/supras/hotel/4.jpg

aside from being out of sight from the road, the area is covered by at least 4 CCTV cameras as well as the grounds being patrolled by a guard+dog after dark.

big reason this hotel seemed better than 99% of others I looked at when I was scouting locations for the Xmas meet.

cheers

[QUOTE=Chris Rocks;76150]I called into the hotel today on my way over to Thor and took some pics..

This is what it`s like from the front as you pull in, quite a lot of parking just off the road ( for people without supras )

I am unaware of a policy of non Supra drivers not parking along side us, this is a MSOC xmas meal for members, the parking area is for ALL members, not just for members with Supra's.

Martin F
13th November 2006, 10:03 PM
Just to reiterate, this is defenitely a club meet and all are welcome whether they have Supras or not, or leave them at home or not (can hardly exclude myself :D)

However we will no doubt want to park all the Supras together at some point to get pics for the gallery, or god forbid another screensaver !

Time's running out for anybody who does want to come for the meal so it would be good to make your intentions known ASAP if anybody is still thinking about it.

Think John will be keeping his NA it does shift well I must say although he may like a go in a manual TT (think my auto was too smooth for him just one long surge of power  ).

Hi guys, Dave and I had a good day - sorry we didn't say goodbye to everyone - we had family commitments that evening and when the dinner bell went you ran! It was good to put faces to names, now I know when I ask for advice from you Martin, I know what you look like! We had a good run home and if the police had caught us, they would have thrown the key away!

We only took a few pics ourselves and it seems the ones inside didn't come out too well, but they are here for anybody who wants to take a peek http://www.mkivsupraownersclub.com/gallery/v/Xmas2006

Phew, what a weekend:jiggy:

I hope everyone had as good as time as I did, great to see old and new faces alike...Phil and Dave, one minute you were there the next you were gone, appologies for not saying goodbye.

I would like to thank Martin and Emma for the very kind "thank you" pressy, but without their help and indeed everyones support, it would'nt have been the event it was. It was a pleasure having a hand in the organisation for such a great bunch of people, a big thank you to each and everyone of you.

Dunk, hope you made it home OK, spent the rest of the night trying to consol Kev after you blew him out:D In fact Kev's new board name is now Kevski after trying to pull the Polish bar maid........he never did get to meet Danielle in the other room either:brushteeth:

Kev: No probs re the lift, pleasure having you on board, just hope I didn't bore you silly with my pipe and slippers driving:rolleyes:

Here's to the next MSOC get together.

Hi Steve, just couldn't feel the kick from the turbos mate.

4Ltr super charged V8 mmmmmmmmmmmm

Guyver

You get boost from 1.5/2k rpm all the way up so you don't really get a kick just a small one at 4k when No.2 comes on line.

Never mine the 4ltr super charged V8 Thor are hoping to do a 4.7ltr twin turbo one day all going well.

on that one saw a v8 twin turbo "supra" in oz- built just for dino shoot outs and if memory serves it had over 1000 kilo watts!!
