You can try any of the traders on the forum, all who should be able to help particularly if you are interested in aftermarket suspension. Also your local Toyota dealer should be able to help if you're after OEM stuff.

hi martin, i got quoted approx ?600, for supplying and fitting stock shocks (alround) to my j-spec n/a , by my local Mr T.
Would you consider this a fair price or is Mr T profiteering ?

Bit much. Get a price for supply only and then ask a local garage for a fitting price as there is nothing complicated about replacing them.

exactly the same problem i had a few months ago, i also had trouble sourcing shocks.
My local Toyota was quoting something silly iirc so i got onto envy ?640 for tein 16way adjustable and fitted them myself. If your thinking of paying that price for stock you may aswell upgrade and have a go yourself, as martin said nothing to complicated with fitting them, if you are handy with the spanners you shouldnt have any probs. |

thanks guys,
the price i got from mr T to supply ( less club disc) was ?325.30 plus ?270 for fiting. If i'm going to spend that kind of money i may as well do as supraRob suggests and fit myself. Getting the time is the main problem though, as i reckon that mr T's mechanics will do the job much quicker than me !!! Are the tien 16way as recommended suitable for jap spec n/a ?
