Thumbs up

Hi guys went into the topic on some1s thread on Denso plugs, anyway.
Having looked at some post material on different oil filters etc, still haven't been help into a decision.
I wouldn't be really getting a MOBIL or Patent Halfords jobby anyway, guess i just wanna know what advantage the TRD filter is sposed to give, over the STD Toyota i could see by the prev posted oil filter comparisions that the Jap TRD Oil filter is Superior to the US TRD Oil filter when taken apart, there was also mention of using a Lexus V8 Oil filter.

Now, the standard Toyata Oil filter mentioned in the comparison's post thread the part no. was:08922-02011, on my last filter change part no. of Toyota filter supplied was:90915-20003 @?7.39, i noticed this part no. was similar to Lexus V8 Oil filter also recommended on the oil filter comparison post of:90915-20004.

So any ideas on what filter i had been supplied with by Toyota (90915-2003) it came "greased" with the film cover like the Red Jap TRD jobbie?
And if the Red Jap TRD jobbie is the 'must have' should i get these from Toyota or is some1 up 4a group buy on them or something?

Can't help on which oil filter you were supplied with and for what reason but i do recall something in the past coming up about the stock oil filter having two different part numbers. Not sure if one was supposed to superceed the other.

As for the Lexus V8 oil filter this is generally regarded as better because it is a larger filter and thus has a greater surface area for filtration.
