trd tach not working?
I recently bought this tach but when installed it jumps to 2000rpm as soon as you put the car in ignition 2. On starting the car the needle doesnt move (stays at 2000rpm). When you switch the car off it only goes back to 1000rpm and stays there. The backround lighting works fine.
Has anyoune got one of these or can shed any light into this? The only difference I have noticed with other pics on websites is that if you look at the codes on the tach, mine has the letter Y and the number 706 as below, whereas other pics have the letter Z and the number 705. Could this be of significance? I thought there was only one TRD tach. Thanks. |

I can't help specifically, but there is definitely more than one type of TRD tacho. I believe the other is for an NA car.
