Question:
1. Does your car hit fuel cut? It shouldn't with that ecu. 2. If it doesn't, why were you fiting a fcd? |

Only tried it for a bit at 1.5 got exhaust, de cat but have the first cat in but could hardly noice a difference I remember when I boosted up my Nissan from 1.0 to 1.2 noticable, however in the soop there was a difference but it was like you had to look for it

could it be the dump valve leaking? I just cant believe that taking it from .9 to 1.5 could have such a little effect?

I don't think taking out the second cat only will be helping you as the first one will be giving you the restriction, you need to try it without the first cat where are you getting your 1.5 reading from an electronic boost controller that you set to 1.5 and just take it's word for it that your getting 1.5 or do you have a seperate gauge that will tell you the truth?
I don't think you will be able to get 1bar through the first cat, let alone 1.5 it's like a giant restrictor ring trying to keep you at stock .7 Of course, thats only what I think..... I have been wrong before. |
