Like it says, i'm running at 1.2bar and am unsure whether to go for the IK22 or IK24 Densos.

I was set on 22's, but saw Alex's post in the 'part numbers' thread. I keep getting told different things, what do you lot reckon?

S40i's. Or whatever that means in IK speak.

I'm not sure its a big difference on a BPU car.

I choose IK22's when a lot of other guys were going with IK24's and had no problems either.

You're probably right Martin, IK22's may be fine. The only reason we run grade 8's on BPU is because our view is to run the coldest plugs possible (to keep on the side of safety) that won't foul up when REALLY cold. The S40's never do. I used to run S45's in my car which admittedly could be a bit fluffy in the winter but I decided to live with the possibilty of a lumpy idle for a few minutes than worry about a plug failing at full chat.

Like you say, it's probably not that important at BPU. After all, we've seen BPU cars on stock plugs, which IMO is really.... http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/shocked.gif

I agree with Nathan, if it were my car I'd go to the coldest that didn't foul for safety, but it demands a bit of experimentation and these plugs are not cheap.
