Hi folks, subject to a test drive on sunday i am due to pick up an RZ tt. I am thinking about slapping on an exhaust but not sure whats best!

a friend has the blitz on his which is good. i have sourced one brand new, full system for ?595 but at the same time i have found an RSR (?) one foe ?495. im not sure which is the one to go for or what the difference is!

any ideas? thanks.

Well it depends what you mean by best ? Best performance, best sounding or best made ?

In all of those categories the Blitz Nur Spec is quite high up the list and would be my own recommendation. However i have no experience of the RSR so can't comment.

For the best performing exhaust you should be looking for the straightest piping you can find.

Removing the CAT's should probably be the first step in tuning your Supra as the return on your investment will be very good. CAT removal pipes are available from all the major suppliers, just watch the boost on a Jap spec car when you remove both CAT's. Also you may want to keep the CAT's come MOT time, as depending on how friendly your MOT guy is http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif depends on whether you will get through or not.

indeed, vague question, but if its tone and power you are after then most people would recommend the HKS Super Dragger. Tell us more of exactly what you require of it.

Yep, I know I'm a trader and all, but I've heard just about every exhaust made for a JZA80 and STILL my favorite is the Drager. Nothing comes close in terms of sound, and they are even nicer if fully de-catted, which is something that often presents a problem in terms of loudness on most other exhausts. Especially the Hiper Muffler and Blitz Nur Spec.

BUT the Drager is NOT full stainless.

Whatever floats yer boat.

it would seem the drager is the one to go for... thanks guys.

where would be the best place to get one from? any grouip buys coming up exhaust wise?

Check out the discounts thread in announcements, you should be able to get discount off with one of the tuners.

I believe Nathan at TDI sells the dragers http://www.mkivsupra.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

If it's a pre-95 j-spec car you should be able to pass catless through a nice MOT station. If it's UK spec it must have at least 1 cat back in to pass the emissions test. If it's post 95 j-spec it must have at least 1 cat in to pass an emissions test.

I know a very 'friendly' MOT station...let me know if anybody needs this service.

he is based just outside petersfield (halfway between guildford and portsmouth). he is only helpful through a friend of mine tho so give plenty of notice! (week/couple of weeks)
